Robin’s Big World Record Cinema Animation

To support Nottingham Children's Hospital's Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Robin Hood, the design team at Hill Langdell produced a cartoon launch animation featuring the Nottingham legend and mascot.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity set its sights on breaking a Guinness World Record in May 2018 in support of The Big Appeal, which aims to raise £4 million over four years to help provide improved parent and family accommodation, state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging equipment, and vital research into childhood diseases.

The animation, which has been running at local cinemas in early 2018, features hand-drawn illustration by creative director Geoff Hill, who originally penned the Nottingham Children's Hospital identity and brand. The cartoon builds on 2017 Big Appeal cinema animation, which can be seen here.
